It's no secret that Apple founder and innovator Steve Jobs had a major hatred toward the Android Operating Device. Android was initially released by Google's Open Handset Alliance in September 2008; however, it wasn't until the winter of 2010 that Jobs started to hold a grudge. During this time, the HTC Android was released and Jobs became furious as the new operating system was clearly based off of Apple's ideas. Toward the end of his life, Jobs made bold threats to spend all of Apple's money (40 billion dollars) in an effort to destroy the android. When former Google CEO Eric Schmidt broached the topic of settlement, Jobs stated that he would refuse all offers.
